TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Leon County students competed for over $10,000 in cash, scholarships and prizes Thursday night during the second annual "Shark Bowl" competition.
"Junior Achievement Big Bend", together with FSU, TCC and FAMU, hosted a countywide competition of 25 students from Leon, Lincoln, Rickards, Chiles, and Godby high schools.
The students presented their business ideas to members of the local business community.
The top five students took the stage to present, and the winner couldn't believe he won.
Organizers say it prepares high school students for economic success, and the ability to compete in a local and global economy.
