TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Leon County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man wanted on battery charges.

Deputies are looking for 31-year-old Stavise Jamon Favors. He is wanted for battery (second offense) and failure to redeliver leased property (violation probation).

He described as being around 5-foot-8 tall and about 180 pounds.

According to complaint documents, the incident happened at the the Pilot Gas Station in Midway. Documents say Favors threw a plate of food at a woman after trying to hit her with his car door.

During the investigation of that incident, deputies discovered Favors had two outstanding warrants for his arrest: a writ and violation of probation for failure to redeliver lease property. They learned he was also convicted of battery in a prior Leon County court case.

Based on the evidence at the scene, authorities found probable cause to charge Favors with battery.
