TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - The Leon County Sheriff's Office is conducting sexual battery investigation that was reported Wednesday.
Detectives say that a 15 year old female told them that she was walking on Dade Street around 10:15pm when she was attacked and dragged to the back of the Dade Street Community Center.
According to detectives, the suspect choked the victim, punched her, kicked her, and then threatened her with a handgun. Detectives says after that, the suspect forcibly removed her clothes.
The victim told detectives that she was able to escape when the suspect looked away.
According to detectives, the suspect is described as a thin black male between 18 and 24 years old with short black hair, dark eyes, dark skin, and yellow teeth. Detectives say he was wearing a black long sleeved shirt with a white t-shirt underneath, dark shoes, and light colored jeans.
Detectives also say that the suspect appeared to be hiding his face from the victim.
