TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Leon County students will return to school this Monday morning.
That's after an extensive effort to restore power to schools across the county.
WTXL ABC 27's Jada Williams was live Monday at DeSoto Trail Elementary.
That school got the all-clear to welcome students just a few hours ago.
Leon County Schools announced on Twitter at about 7 p.m. Sunday that power had been restored to every school.
By Sunday morning, only three schools were left without power as the city designated priority to restoring power to schools.
For students unable to return, absences will be excused Monday.
Because of the missed week, the nine-week period will end this Friday and report cards go home October 29.
There are no changes to bus routes, and breakfast and lunch will be served.
Any after-school activities will go about at the individual school's discretion.
