TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Leon County Schools have approved the 2017 - 2018 school calendar and includes a week-long break for Thanksgiving.
The organization announced the completed calendar on their social media. They said that there were 3 options sent out through the schools for feedback over the past few months.
They said that more than 2,200 parents voted on the options, with 58% endorsing the third option.
The District Advisory Council and Student District Advisory Council also endorsed option 3.
