TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL) - A video circulating online is drawing attention to a Leon County School bus driver.
In the video posted to YouTube last week, the bus is captured on a segment of its morning route on Old St Augustine Road appearing to drive over the center line, and traveling quickly around curves.
According to the poster of the video, there have been three different calls made on this bus but workers at the bus compound say, there's nothing they can do since GPS shows the bus was never speeding. The concerned citizen is hoping to bring awareness to the driving.
The Director of Transportation for Leon County says, they have seen the video and are now taking immediate action. He also says if you see dangerous driving in the future, you're asked to either go online to Leon County School's Community Information site and report the time, date, and bus number so they can check on the incident.
Residents can also call the number on the decal on the buses labeled "How's my Driving", those messages are checked daily.
