TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A Leon County school bus has reportedly been involved in an accident.
According to Leon County Schools spokesperson Chris Petley, the crash, which happened Thursday afternoon, involved a school bus coming from Chaires Elementary School with 50 students on board.
The crash reportedly happened just after 3 p.m. near the intersection of Chaires Cross Road and Apalachee Parkway.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the school bus was heading west on Apalachee, when it collided with a Nissan Altima.
Two students were transported with minor, non-life threatening injuries, Petley said.
The driver of the Altima, 21-year-old Deritez Dunlap, as well as two passengers, were also brought to the hospital with minor injuries.
The school said they communicated with parents of the students and asked them to pick up their children at the school.
Troopers say charges are pending in the crash.
