TALLAHASSEE, FLA. (WTXL) - The Leon County government receives 11 national awards from the National Association of Counties.
The 11 awards ranged from civic education to information technology. Some of the programs that were awarded included: 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance, Club of Honest Citizens, Domi Station, and the Leon county Veterans Resource center.
The NACO achievement award program is an award series that recognizes innovative county government programs. Leon county will be recognized at na-co's 80th annual conference in july.
