TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)-- A Leon County grand jury finds a Tallahassee man guilty of 1st degree murder and carjacking.
33-year-old Jason Reser is on trial for his connection to the death of a passer-by in 2012 who tried to break up a fight.
Reser is accused of running over and killing 38-year-old Christopher Breeze. Breeze and a female passenger were driving by the home on Orchid Drive, when Breeze noticed the fight between Reser and two other men.
Breeze tried to break up the fight. That's when court documents say Reser got into Breeze's truck and tried to get away. But Breeze was run over after he fell on the ground.
Reser will appear in court again on September 22nd for sentencing.
