TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- A Leon County judge will hear arguments today about whether low income parents should be allowed to become parties in a legal battle about the constitutionality of the Florida tax credit scholarship program.
The parents have children who are a part of a school vouchers program, which allows low income students to attend private schools they might not otherwise have access to.
The Florida Education Association and Florida School Boards Association filed a lawsuit this summer challenging the program's constitutionality.
The judge will decide today whether parents of these children will be able to participate in the case with full party status.
