TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Leon County Sheriff's Office has arrested five men for drugs after they searched an apartment at the Commons and found more than 4 pounds of cannabis, prescription pills, MDMA, over $10,000 in cash, and 10 firearms.

As a result of citizens’ complaints and a confidential source, the Leon County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit launched an investigation about six weeks ago. Thursday, investigators obtained a search warrant for a residence within the Commons apartment complex.

During the investigation, deputies learned that the occupants were heavily armed with various firearms. As a result, the SWAT team was requested to secure the residence.

Upon entry, the SWAT team encountered 6 black male subjects. One of them were released on scene. The other five were arrested.

During a search of the residence, detectives discovered and seized more than 4 pounds of cannabis, prescription pills, MDMA (ecstasy), over $10,000 and 10 firearms.

The investigation is ongoing, including one outstanding warrant.

William Woods-Mangham, DOB 05/27/95: Possession of Cannabis WITS within 1,000’ of a School, Possession of Synthetic Narcotics WITS within 1,000’ of a School, Possession of a Controlled Substance WITS within 1,000’ of a School (2 counts)

Martez Davis, DOB 08/22/95: Sale of Cannabis within 1,000’ of a School, Possession of Cannabis WITS within 1,000’ of a School, Destruction of Evidence

Devin Watkins, DOB 06/05/96: Possession of >20 grams of Cannabis

Darius Tolbert, DOB 10/11/94: Possession of >20 grams of Cannabis, Resisting Arrest without Violence

Christopher Woods-Hooker, DOB 12/03/93: Possession of Cannabis WITS within 1,000’ of a School
