TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Leon County deputies need your help finding a man who, they say, scammed elderly residents for thousands of dollars, through his concrete business.
Deputies say Matthew Williams, owner of Matt Williams Concrete would enter into contracts with residents to perform concrete work at their homes. However, Williams would require payment before the work is completed.
On one occasion, the sheriff's office said, once the 47-year-old was paid, he would do minor work, but not even lay out concrete.
An investigation revealed, in two cases, Williams scammed elderly residents out of nearly $11,000.
