LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Deputies said they have arrested a 54-year-old man after finding him in possession of more than eight ounces of meth.
Around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, the Leon County Sheriff's Office said that Samuel Butler was driving on Veteran Memorial Highway when deputies pulled him over for a traffic violation.
After stopping Butler, deputies learned that he had a warrant out for his arrest for the sale of meth and was arrested.
A LSCO K-9 later alerted to deputies that there was illegal narcotics in Butler's car, leading deputies to find that he had more than eight ounces of meth.
Butler was arrested for trafficking and sale of meth and transported to the Leon County Jail.
