LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Two Leon County correctional officers, one current and one former, have been arrested for sexual assault after allegedly sending a victim a video of the three of them involved in a sexual act.

The Leon County Sheriff's Office says that they received a complaint of a possible sexual battery in November. The assault allegedly occurred in June 2018.

An investigation determined both suspects, 28-year-old Christopher Curtis and 31-year-old O’Dell Eargle, Jr., were corrections officers at the Leon County Detention Facility at the time of the incident.

Detectives determined Eargle picked up the victim from her residence and drove her to Christopher’s home. While at the residence, Eargle made drinks for them. The victim had little memory of what occurred a short time later.

A week later, deputies say Eargle sent the victim a video of the three of them involved in a sexual act.

As a result of the investigation, probable cause was developed for the arrest of Eargle and Christopher.

Christopher’s employment with LCSO was terminated Monday after the arrest. Eargle’s employment was terminated for unrelated reasons in September 2018.
