LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Hundreds of families were getting their kids involved in the community at the Leon County 4-H Program open house on Saturday.
The Leon County 4-H Program is all about getting the youth involved in clubs and activities, helping shape our leaders of tomorrow.
Kids were learning about everything from engineering to story-telling to horticulture.
The event included hands-on educational activities and demonstrations to help children find clubs that interest them.
"It's amazing because it's a hassle trying to research stuff and barely know what you're researching for in the first place," said Noah Davis, who attended Leon County 4-H Program open house. "So it's amazing having just one spot and going to everything you can just sign up for it."
The Leon County 4-H Program isn't just looking for kids to get involved. They're also looking for parent volunteers for local clubs.
