TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--A judge orders a Leon County man to surrender 12 horses to the county.
The court document says Edward Moragne is prohibited from owning or possessing horses, mules, ponies, donkeys, and any other animal in the horse family.
It lists the 12 horses by gender, color, and name. The document says Moragne agrees to pay costs incurred to Leon County for taking care of the animals.
According to Leon County deputies, the horses were seized from Moragne's property on Moccasin Gap Road in February.
He's listed in FAMU's campus directory as an adjunct professor in the division of agricultural sciences.
He was charged with several counts of neglect.
The pictures included in this story are before and after photos of a horse that Moragne previously surrendered to Triple R Horse Rescue.
