TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Farm Share is distributed goods to those in need at the Leon County Sheriff's Office.
The event started at 8 a.m. and went until they ran out of food. Farm Share provided 14,000 pounds of fresh fruits,vegetables, protein drinks, bread, and toiletries, projected to feed well over 350 families.
In attendance were Leon County officers and Attorney Ben Crump.
Crump says he plans to use the farm share LCSO partnership as a possible state model to help combat crime within the local communities and strengthen the to police civilian relationship.
