TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The self-proclaimed leader of a Tallahassee white nationalist group has been released from jail.

Jordan Jereb was in court Thursday for a violation of probation hearing. He was arrested in March after an FBI raid at his house.

Agents found two tactical knives during the raid.

The state said that violates the terms of his probation from a 2016 extortion case. His attorney Ethan Way asserted more evidence is needed to justify keeping Jereb in jail.

In the end, Jereb’s attorney and the state reached an agreement to enter an admission of violation of probation. As part of the agreement, Jereb was released from jail.

Jereb will also have to wear a GPS monitor and cannot be on social media or the Republic of Florida website. He is ordered to stay at least 500 feet from all schools and is required to obey a curfew (7 a.m. - 7 p.m.).

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A self-proclaimed leader of a Tallahassee white nationalist group is set to return to court Thursday.

Jordan Jereb has been in custody without bond since March when he was arrested at his home during an FBI raid.

He is facing a charge of violating conditions of his probation.

Jereb's group, The Republic of Florida, calls for Florida to be a white ethno-state and to use armed force if necessary.

Attorneys say if the group exists he's the only member and he's completely innocent.

He is to go before a judge at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

Jereb will also face a misdemeanor charge of false report to law enforcement in August.
