TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Leon County Sheriff's Office is stepping up to help out those affected by Hurricane Michael.
WTXL ABC 27's Jada WIlliams was live Tuesday morning from Immanuel Baptist Church.
The Leon County Sheriff's Office is stepping up by collecting donated items for families in Jackson and Gadsden counties.
Donations have come in over the last week or so.
On Tuesday morning, deputies will load up the trucks full of the donated goods.
Donated items include tarps, trash bags, toiletries and cleaning supplies.
The loading will begin at 8 a.m. and plans are to leave for Jackson County by 10 a.m.
