TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee man has been arrested after police found him and his large amount of illegal drugs hiding in the back seat of a car.
On Thursday, deputies with the Leon County Sheriff's Office attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle. The driver, Brian Oconnell, didn't stop and instead drove away.
Later on, LCSO found the vehicle abandoned, with the engine running. When deputies went to Oconnell's home, they saw a car pulling into the driveway.
They immediately found Oconnell hiding in the back seat of the car.
Inside the car deputies found a bag in the back seat which contained 51 grams of meth, 6 grams of heroin, 9 grams of ecstasy pills, 44 Xanax pills, and cannabis.
Oconnell was arrested and is facing multiple charges including trafficking of drugs and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
