TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)  - Deputies are investigating after two people were found dead in Leon County on Friday.

According to a press release, LCSO deputies received a call from the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office on Friday night requesting a welfare check of 51-year-old Georgette Crawford.

GCSO said Anthony Nealy, 53, showed up at a family member's house with blood on his clothes, saying he had killed Crawford.

Later, LCSO deputies found Crawford dead inside her home from apparent stab wounds.

As a result of the investigation, Nealy was arrested and taken to the Leon County Detention Facility where he is being charged with first degree murder.

In another unrelated incident on Friday night, LCSO deputies were patrolling the area of Back Forest Road when they became suspicious of a vehicle.

While investigating the vehicle, they found the body of Dewayne Nelson, 38, inside with "obvious signs of foul play," deputies said.

An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday morning and Nelson's death is still under investigation.
