TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL)-- Local deputies gave back to the community and raised money for a cause while barbecuing Friday.
LCSO held a fundraiser for the American Heart Association's Heart Walk for the 5th year. Over 200 people came out to the event which included BBQ as well as an auction with more then 20 items including electronics, cooking supplies. and other specialty items.
Organizers say close to 4,000 dollars were raised. The heart walk is to be held on August 27 in Tallahassee.
