WOODVILLE, Fla. (WTXL) - Two burglary suspects are in custody after they led deputies on a chase through Woodville in a stolen car.

The Leon County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were dispatched to a burglary in progress in the 9400 block of Amaretta Drive Monday night. During the call, deputies received a description of a black car seen fleeing from the scene.

A short time later, a black Honda, reported stolen to the Tallahassee Police Department, was spotted nearby on Ridge Road. The car was followed by Air-1 until the car stopped on Montgomery Road and both occupants got out of the car to run.

With the use of the helicopter, patrol units, an LCSO K9 unit, and detectives in the area, both men were found and arrested.

The investigation led deputies to arrest 31-year-old Antonio Givens and 20-year-old Michael McLaughlin on grand theft and burglary charges. Both were taken to the Leon County Detention Facility.
