TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Leon County Sheriff's Office has arrested five teenage minors in connection to a string of burglaries in the Water Valley and Killearn areas.

They say that the burglaries started the night of April 3 and continued through to the early morning hours of April 4. LCSO says that suspects were targeting the Water Valley subdivision and the Killearn area.

During the crime spree, two vehicles were also stolen due to the keys being left inside.

Through investigation, deputies were able to link the crimes back to the five teenage suspects who were arrested.

They were all charged with eight counts of burglary, eight counts of armed burglary, four counts of grand theft, three counts of petit theft, grand theft of a firearm, and three counts of grand theft of a motor vehicle.

Detectives say the suspects range in age from 15 to 17. No photos were immediately available for the suspects.

WTXL is choosing not to identify the suspects due to their age.
