TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Leon County Schools is warning parents after a screenshot claiming that their schools have received threats began circulating on Instagram.
LCS says that the screenshot was taken from an article written in 2016:
We understand that many of our parents and students have seen posts on Instagram with a “screen shot” claiming that our schools have received threats. This screen grab is from a Tallahassee Democrat article from January 25, 2016.

"Our schools are among the safest places in our community and we have received NO credible threats to our campuses," officials wrote on Twitter.
While officials say they will do what they can to dispel the rumors, they are asking parents and students for help stopping the spread of rumors.
