ATLANTA (AP) - A large business fire outside Atlanta sent smoke billowing above a major freeway around rush hour as flames shot through the roof of the building.
DeKalb County Fire Rescue Capt. Eric Jackson said the Thursday morning blaze was at Green Glass, a glass company near the border of the Atlanta suburbs of Doraville and Chamblee. Smoke could be seen from downtown Atlanta, about 12 miles to the southeast.
Video shot by DeKalb County fire officials showed black smoke pouring from several places through the roof of the massive yellow building (bit.ly/1sgZH6F).
Jackson said there were some explosions inside the building, and that part of it had collapsed. Firefighters were ordered out of the building for their safety.
No injuries were reported.
Jackson said the cause of the fire wasn't immediately known.
