LANIER Co., GA (WTXL) - A convenience store clerk is alive after four armed men robbed his store in Lanier County.
The robbery happened Tuesday evening at a convenience store on West Highway 84 in Stockton, Georgia.
Four men wearing masks and gloves forced the clerk onto the floor and, according to deputies, struck the clerk in the head at least once.
Deputies say the four stole cash, electronic devices and a blue Dodge Caravan belonging to the clerk. The four drove off in the van but ditched it to run on foot a little while later.
They believe the same person who dropped the four off at the convenience store picked them up and headed east.
All four face charges of armed robbery, aggravated assault, kidnapping and vehicle theft.
The Lanier County Sheriff's Office is offering a $1,000 cash reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of any of the persons involved in this case.
