DELTONA, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say two people were killed when a car and truck collided on a central Florida highway.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal reports that the crash occurred on Interstate 4 near Deltona Monday night.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that a Ford Mustang ran into a Ford pickup. The truck's driver and one passenger were ejected and died at the scene. A third occupant sustained critical injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
The Mustang's driver was hospitalized with minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
