TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Grace Mission Church is getting a makeover and it's a project that's needed a lot of extra help.
Muralist Kollet Probst, who is responsible for the "Rosie the Riveter" painting on Gaines Street, is partnering with Fun 4 Tally Kids.
The idea is to get from children across the city to put their touch on the wall of the soup kitchen.
Probst wants to send positive messages across town and inspire children to unleash their creative side.
"They thanked me and I thanked them. It was very humbling to have a child thank me because I needed them to do this wall. This is a huge wall and it still makes me fearful walking up to a blank canvas," said Probst. "So I was feeding off of their energy as much as they were feeding off of mine."
Probst says 57 kids between the ages of 2 and 18, participated in adding their touch to the mural.
The unveiling is this Thursday at 11 a.m.
