TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Triple A is expecting close to 900,000 American motorists to break down between today and January 3rd.
The primary reasons? Flat tires, dead batteries and lock outs.
To avoid the holiday travel blues, here are some tips on what you can do to prepare:
- make sure you have a clean filter in your car
- make sure your tires are properly inflated
- make sure your tires and steering is properly aligned
- get the car checked out for any needed preventative maintenance
Other tips include checking your oil and making sure you have all the numbers you need to ensure you don't get stranded on the road..
