TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The victims of the Eastpoint wildfire are continuing their long road to recovery.
On Thursday night WTXL partnered with a few Franklin county organizations to help fundraise for them during our WTXL Question Center.
With your generous donations, we raised more than $5,000 for the wildfire victims in just an hour and a half.
Wildfire victims and members of several organizations - including Franklin's Promise Coalition, the Franklin County Emergency Response Team and Duke Energy - were in the WTXL newsroom answering your phone calls and taking donations.
The victims tell us how much your donations are helping them get back on their feet.
There's still a lot to be done for the Eastpoint wildfire victims.
