June 5 last day for Bass Pro Shops job fair

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The search is on for employees to work in Tallahassee's first ever Bass Pro Shops Outpost.

The last day of the company's job fair is Wednesday, June 5. Those interested in employment are asked to apply in person at the Tallahassee Automobile Museum (Cord Room) 6800 Mahan Drive, in Tallahassee, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. 

Applications will be accepted for full-time and part-time positions in the following departments:  fishing, camping, hunting, archery, footwear, apparel/gifts, marine accessories, receiving and customer service.  In addition, Bass Pro Shops will be employing cashiers, greeters, stockers, marine technicians, boat riggers, boat detailers and boat sales consultants.

Tallahassee's Bass Pro Shops Outpost will be a 55,000 square-foot outdoor store located at 4059 Lagniappe Way. It is scheduled to open late summer or early fall.

A special “Evening for Conservation”, that is free and open to the public, will take place the night before the official grand opening and will feature celebrities, entertainment and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.  Watch www.basspro.com for more information about this event as it becomes available.
