TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A judge assigned to Adam Frasch's murder case recuses herself, after she was assigned at the beginning of the year.
Frasch is the Thomasville podiatrist accused of killing his estranged wife.
Judge Angela Dempsey is not sharing the reason for wanting to be off the case. She was previously assigned to Frasch's divorce case with his estranged wife Samira Frasch. However, that case was dropped when her body was found in the pool outside of the couple's home in February 2014.
In October, Frasch signed an agreement to drop the death penalty if he is found guilty of the murder, in exchange for being tried before a jury of six people. The next court date for Frasch is February 22nd.
