TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The school dedicated to creating the world's next batch of business owners has officially opened the doors to its new building in downtown Tallahassee.
The new Jim Moran building is on South Monroe Street, which will serve as a statewide resource and training center for entrepreneurs.
Officially cutting the ribbon Tuesday morning, the building will feature two separate Florida State organizations: the Jim Moran School of Entrepreneurship and the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship.
"Well, what we're most excited about is the opportunity our students will have to be here work with entrepreneurs and work with folks that will enhance their opportunity to finish a great degree in the college of entrepreneurship and go out and hopefully make the world a better place," said FSU President John Thrasher.
The program provides small business training programs to Tallahassee business owners and in other communities throughout Florida.
