TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Jonathan Jackson, the son of Reverend Jesse Jackson, is set to set to speak at FAMU's annual Martin Luther King Jr. convocation tomorrow.

Jackson has followed in his father's foot steps and advocates for equality regardless of race, background, or age.

Most recently, Jackson has been advocating for what he calls "innocent cases." These are cases in which a person is innocent but gets incarcerated anyway.

As Martin Luther King Day quickly approaches, he feels that now is the time to reflect upon the past and the strides we've made in regards to equality.

While we've come a long way, Jackson recognizes that there is still much to be done.

In Jackson's eyes, one of the biggest pieces of unfinished business is voter rights being restored to those that have served their time in jail and are now free citizens.
