JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A Jackson County man wanted in drug charges from Broward County faces charges of fleeing and eluding law enforcement after he sped away from them on his motorcycle.
Jordan Tyler Christiansen, 23, of Greenwood, was taken to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance on the new charges. His new charges also include reckless driving, driving while license suspended/revoked, and no vehicle registration.
On April 3, a Marianna Police Department officer saw Christiansen exit the Grocery Outlet parking lot and travel east on Lafayette Street. When the officer tried to make a traffic stop, the motorcyclist fled, and for the safety of the public, a news release said, the officer ended the pursuit.
On April 11, officers saw Christiansen at a Marianna restaurant.
Christiansen has an active warrant out of Broward County for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
He was arrested on the warrant and transported to the Jackson County correctional Facility to await extradition.
