JACKSON COUNTY, FL (WTXL) - A traffic stop for a broken headlight in Jackson County lead deputies to discovering meth in a hole inside a passenger door.
Roy Hall was arrested Sunday morning for the possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
Around 2 a.m., a Jackson County Sheriff's Office deputy spotted a truck traveling north on Penn Avenue with a broken headlight. The deputy stopped the truck and saw an open container of alcohol and a crystal-like substance in plain view.
Deputies said that Hall made several movements near the passenger door and was asked to exit the vehicle because of the suspicious behavior. When Hall exited, deputies said that they saw baggies with what a field test later identified as meth.
Deputies also found a cigarette wrapper, small jeweler's box, and small plastic container all carrying meth in a hole inside the passenger door.
Hall has been transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to be housed until his first appearance in court.
