JACKSON COUNTY, FL (WTXL) - Deputies have reported that a person was shot and taken to the hospital in Jackson County.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office said that on Friday around 12:30 p.m. they received a call about a person who had been shot and taken to Jackson Hospital. Deputies arrived to a location on Highway 73 north where the shooting took place to investigate.
They said the victim sustained non-life threatening injuries but was transferred to another hospital for treatment. A suspect has been detained but no one has been charged.
