JACKSON COUNTY, FL (WTXL) - Jackson County deputies arrest a prior felon, after finding two high-powered rifles and ammunition in his car.
Thursday afternoon, deputies were patrolling the area near Christmas and Rambo Roads, when they noticed a car driving by slowly.
The driver, John Welch stopped and got out of the car, walked towards the deputy's vehicle and that's when he was apprehended.
In addition the to weapons, the deputy discovered Welch was driving without a license.
He was later booked into the Jackson County Jail.
