JACKSON COUNTY, FL (WTXL) - Deputies in Jackson County said they arrested a 55-year-old club owner for illegally selling alcohol.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post that they were investigating into Club Secrets due to numerous customer complaints.

During the investigation, deputies said they sent in undercover officers to the club and they said they were able to buy alcohol from the business, though the business was never registered to be able to sell alcohol.

In fact, officers said that the establishment had not been licensed to operate as a business in the first place due to building compliance issues.

After confirming that the club was selling alcohol illegally, officers went to the club and placed 55-year-old Granville Harvey Sr. under arrest for the sale of alcohol without a license with other charges pending.

When the officers came in, they said club attendees began to come out, rapidly exiting and leaving 10 separate bags of weed. Deputies also said they found and took 24 bottles of liquor and 95 bottles of beer.

Prior to the arrest, officers said Club Secrets had been the source of many loud music complaints by citizens in the neighborhood and said several sexual assaults and shootings have occurred there as well.
