Jackson Bluff neighborhood experiences increase in property crime

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - An uptick in crime in one Tallahassee neighborhood has people and police concerned.

Homeowners and renters say the Jackson Bluff neighborhood is being is being bombarded with thefts and burglaries.

Neighbors tell us they're hearing about, and in some cases, even witnessing, crimes like home invasions and car burglaries right here in their own backyards.

It's happening on Tallahassee's west side, in the area near Tomahawk Trail, just west of Collegetown. In emails to WTXL and on social media, people say they feel like they're being "preyed on."
