TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Former Leon County Superintendent Jackie Pons said that he wants to stay in the school system and work as an employee.
Chris Petley, a spokes person for the school system said that Leon County schools did not take up an agenda item during the previous school board meeting regarding Pons' interest in returning to the district in another capacity.
Pons is still under investigation for alleged misconduct after anonymous information was leaked.
Petley said that investigation is a part of the legal aspect that is currently under review.
Rocky Hanna was sworn in and took office last Tuesday as Superintendent.
