CRAWFORDVILLE, FL (WTXL) - Deputies say stolen property has been returned to Wakulla County Animal Control after it was taken by a community service worker.

Wakulla County Sheriff's Deputies say Jenny Rose Heather Cummings admitted to stealing $566 worth of items from the organization including cameras, a flashlight, computer speakers and a multitude of animal related products varying from dog leashes and flea combs to catnip.

It was discovered that Cummings had taken the items after an inmate worker saw Cummings putting the items in her vehicle and told staff members.

Deputies say Director Ivanhoe Carroll confronted Cummings who admitted she took the items and then returned them to the staff, saying she "has a problem with stealing things."

Cummings was charged with grand theft as well as drug possession for marijuana and drug paraphernalia found in her car.
