It's National Missing Children's Day

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--Little Etan Patz was last seen walking to school in New York City in 1979.

His disappearance is what started National Missing Children's Day in 1983. Since then, on this day,  children and the efforts to find them are recognized. Last year, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement received more than 48,000 reports of missing persons.
