(RNN) – The mayor of Salem, MA, took a photo of a streetlight that is haunting some internet users.
“Anybody else see a face in the light?... Totally eerie, eh,” Mayor Kim Driscoll wrote in a Wednesday tweet that captured the image.
The town is most known for the famous Salem Witch Trials that took place in 1692. In about three months, 14 women and five men were hanged, the town’s website says.

The town's slogan is “Still Making History.” It was founded in 1626, and its name is derived from the Hebrew word for peace.
Salem is indeed rich in history and counts author Nathanial Hawthorne among its natives.
The witch trials ended when the governor disbanded the court, and a new one let those awaiting trial and in jail go free.
