COLQUITT COUNTY, Ga. (WALB/WTXL) - Colquitt County investigators are still searching for the group of men responsible for nearly 15 armed robberies this year.
All of which, these investigators say, appear to be targeting the Hispanic community.
There's been 15 robberies in less than a year. Investigators say they have several things in common: Targeting cell phones, cash and Hispanic communities.
Colquitt County investigators say a group of about five black males armed with guns have been committing violent crimes in Hispanic communities since January.
The latest incidents happening on Green Street and Smith Road. These crimes are happening late at night or even early in the morning. They are also happening in different neighborhoods each time.
Investigators say the men are becoming violent. Two of the victims were treated for minor gunshot wounds.
