TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused a house fire in Tallahassee over the weekend.
The Tallahassee Fire Department says it happened at about 3:30 Sunday afternoon at 1345 S. Bronough Street. When firefighters arrived, they saw heavy fire and smoke coming from the front of the house, into the attic.
Firefighters put out the fire within 15 minutes and they say two adults and three kids in the house got out safely.
Officials say the fire caused an estimated $34,000 in damages and is currently undetermined. Officials say LCEMS, Tallahassee Police, City of Tallahassee Utilities and The American Red Cross were all on scene to assist.
