MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Midway City Council is one step closer to filling the district 1 seat after the previous council member passed away.
On Tuesday night three applicants were interviewed for the position about ideas regarding bringing jobs to the area and trash collection.
Applicants stood at the front of the room and were asked various questions from the council members.
The level of political experience varied.
Council members said those vying for the position offered a variety of talents that can be implemented in different ways.
