TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Tallahassee residents now have the option to have groceries -- and yes, alcohol, delivered right to their doorstep.
Instacart announced that they will be offering services to Tallahassee and the surrounding area through popular local stores like Publix, ABC Fine Wine & Spirit, Whole Foods Market, Costco (no membership needed) and Petco.
They say that the service offers same day deliveries in as little as one hour.
The service currently reaches Miami, Orlando, Tampa and Jacksonville areas and will now be expanding its Florida operations to include Tallahassee, Daytona Beach, and Palm Bay.
Not only will the delivery area will cover over 225,000 households but it will also be providing more than 100 new jobs.
Areas of service in the Tallahassee area include Tallahassee, Fort Braden, Woodville, Perkins, Homestead Ridge, Centerville, Bradfordville, Felkel, Miccosukee, Iamonia and Scotland
