Inmates who escaped Wakulla County jail face additional charges

WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The inmates who escaped from the Wakulla County Jail are facing additional charges.  

Donald Cotterman, who was returned to the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office on June 6, is now facing the following charges: 

  • Escape
  • Failure to report change of address as registered sex offender 
  • Failure to appear for tampering with witness and physical evidence 
  • Failure to appear for possession of firearm by convicted felon, armed burglary of structure, grand theft of firearm, grand theft 
  • Failure to appear for aggravated battery by person detained in jail 

Casey Martina, who was returned to WCSO on Feb. 16, is now facing the following charges: 

  • Escape
  • Failure to appear for grand theft of firearm, burglary of dwelling with firearm, grand theft, grand theft of firearm 
  • Order to show cause  

Joel Cooper, who was returned to WCSO on March 31, is still only facing a single escape charge.
